Operations Manager

Sandy Medway

Sandy joined the Hour of Revival Association in early 2014, after a 30 year career as a senior manager providing services within the business, health and charity sectors. She is qualified in Professional Studies and took over the charity’s governance and administration when Ian Milmine retired in August 2014. Sandy manages the offices and Speak Life Centre, hosting events and visitors. She oversees the charity’s finances, fundraising and donor care, and manages the production and mailing of Speak Life Daily. With help from her husband, Howard, they look after our Love Africa ministry. Sandy is a Trustee of two Christian charities, Aid for Trade and ROC Eastbourne, and is founder of local charity People Matter; Eastbourne Street Pastors and the Eastbourne Christian Agencies Network. She served from 1999-2002 as a Non-Executive Director of Eastbourne Hospitals NHS Trust and is a long-serving member of the Save the DGH Campaign Group, established in 2005 as a cross-party initiative fighting against the closure of consultant-led maternity and other core services at Eastbourne’s District General Hospital. Sandy has a ministry of encouragement and affirmation, having sensed in 1996 a call to “Go, tell people they matter”. She is fully committed to serving the local church through prayer and joint mission.

Sandy and Howard have been married 37 years and they have 3 daughters and 4 grandchildren.

Linda Owen

Linda has been a long standing volunteer for Speak Life. She started helping in 2001, when part of our offices here were converted into a Prayer Centre.  Her passion is to see people grow in deeper intimacy with God.  Each week she takes part in prayer meetings at the Prayer Centre, whether that's a locally arrange group, or part of Prayer Pastors or with individuals. She sends out a local 'Friday Focus' to encourage Christian's in the community to pray along a particular theme.

Prayer Centre

Although our mission is nationwide we cannot ignore our home town. Situated in the heart of Eastbourne, our offices are known locally as “The Prayer Centre.” We are a hub of activity and prayer for the Christian community as well as a drop-in point for the town.
